The role involves driving research efforts through investigations into new technologies and applications, developing knowledge base and implementing ideas into product development projects, and understanding industry trends and company needs to enable new product development. You will also be responsible for leading and managing technical projects using project management skills to scope projects and drive to results.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related science, along with 5-10 years of experience in chemistry, formulation, and/or product development. Strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills, as well as experience with computers and Microsoft Office programs, are also essential.
