What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Intern position at AMSOIL INC?
The AMSOIL Human Resources team is looking for an Intern for summer 2025. The summer internship program typically begins after spring semester and ends before the start of the fall semester. This is an exciting opportunity for students who are highly motivated, enjoy a challenge, and are looking to expand their career. This position reports on-site to the AMSOIL Center in Superior, Wisconsin.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Support the development and implementation of employer branding strategies to attract top talent.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Must be working towards a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- Must be in Junior or Senior class standing
- Available 20 hours/week Monday - Thursday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the summer months
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
- Can work, and enjoys working independently with little to no supervision
- Excellent organization skills with a keen attention to detail
