Columbia Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center specialize in colon cancer screening and the treatment of gastrointestinal problems. Since our first facility opened in 1988, our experienced nurses and Board certified physicians have provided high quality care in a setting that is friendly, comfortable and deserving of your trust. Plus, our procedures allow patients to pay less than a hospital would charge.
We are currently searching for a Full Time Receptionist to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Key responsibilities include welcoming patients and visitors, collecting patient identification cards and insurance information, updating patient accounts, collecting copayments and deductibles, recording payments in the billing system other administrative duties; must have ability to multi-task.
You must possess a high school diploma or GED, one year of experience (preferably in an Ambulatory Surgery Center), experience in Endoscopy/Multi-specialty/ Ophthalmology/ ASC, ability to speak and understand the English language, strong ethical and moral character references, and excellent telephone and basic computer skills.
