AMT Inc. – a leading manufacturer of Precision Investment Castings – has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Operator position in our Sharon Springs, NY facility.
The position is full-time hourly on our day shift. The job will require working in our grinding and finishing department. Candidates must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Investment casting experience is not required; however, anyone with a background with hand tools, metal working, manufacturing, and operations is encouraged to apply. Paid training is provided for all employees.

Responsibilities
- Report to and perform tasks as assigned by department supervisor
- Basic operation of hand tools and general manufacturing equipment
- Adhere to all company standards of conduct including adherence to safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Outstanding work ethic and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to read and understand operating procedures and specifications with guidance from supervisor
- Ability to wear PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and a dust respirator
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to stay focused with strong attention to detail
