Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled fundraiser to cultivate and solicit annual gifts from individual donors, driving increased fundraising revenue.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the Individual Giving Team's Annual Giving Campaign, including employee giving, special events, tribute and memorial gifts, affinity/community groups, and peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives.
- Assist in implementing the team's Annual Giving plan by prospecting and stewarding a donor portfolio of 50-75 individuals and building our mid-level donor base.
- Support affiliate signature events, engage with individual donors and prospects, and collaborate on planning and executing special donor events, as needed.
- Maintain accurate donor records, track communications and activity, and ensure our database is up-to-date and reflective of accurate information.
Requirements
- Access to a reliable internet connection.
- Reliable transportation, valid CA driver's license, and minimum required personal automobile liability insurance.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and donor management systems.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for working with donors, volunteers, board members, and internal teams.
- Ability to develop and implement long-term fundraising strategies aligned with the organization's goals and mission.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with a wide range of stakeholders, including high-net-worth individuals, board members, and community leaders.
- Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of related experience.
