Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent/Project Manager to oversee new home construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and a commitment to delivering high-quality homes on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
**Project Planning & Coordination:**
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project specifications are met.
**Supervision & Leadership:**
- Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage and mentor site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
**Communication:**
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Facilitate regular meetings with team members to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.
**Quality Control:**
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and local building codes.
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
**Budget & Cost Management:**
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure projects remain within budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
**Problem-Solving:**
- Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve conflicts and challenges that may arise during construction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5 - 10 Years of proven experience as a Superintendent, Project Manager, or similar role in residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
