The Low Voltage Power Network team is critical in every project, every platform and every vehicle. Our group focuses on power generation, power distribution, power conversion and energy storage by creating and maintaining the vehicles low voltage architecture. This position will focus on collaboration and coordination with global component owners that require low voltage circuit protection for Conventional Diesel, Electric, and Autonomous vehicle platforms on medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles.

Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or closely related field, from ABET accredited university OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles and circuit design
- Strong conceptual knowledge of fuses, relays, circuit breakers
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Experience in power distribution systems for low voltage systems
- Experience interpreting industry standards into component and/or system-level requirements (i.e. ISO, SAE, VDA, IEEE)
- Self-starter personality, able to work with minimal supervision required
- Motivation and curiosity regarding position topics and challenges
- Direct commercial vehicle experience in any capacity
- Experience in technical documentation and specification analysis
- Experience with Daimler processes and release management
- Experience with ELM suite (i.e. DOORS, DOORS Next, Rhapsody)
Salary : $35 - $40
