- 2nd Shift : MonThurs 3 PM 1 : 30 AM ( $2 shift differential )
- Weekend Shift : FriSun 5 AM 5 PM ( $6 shift differential )

Position Summary :
The Machinist Technician sets up and operates various conventional and / or numerically controlled machining centers on the most complex and difficult jobs . Works from blueprints sketches planning sheets verbal instructions and / or engineering tooling or equipment information . Actively contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs. Works independently with minimal guidance in a team environment.
Responsibilities :
Operates multiple machines efficiently often requiring simultaneous operations.Sets up adjusts and operates conventional and / or specialpurpose machines for complex production operations.Interprets customer requirements from blueprints complex drawings engineering specs and verbal instructions.Collaborates with engineering to resolve drawing errors suggest design changes and solve product / process problems.Implements manufacturing methods using standard machines materials and tooling.Develops and defines processes with limited documentation as required.Troubleshoots and resolves machining problems .Ensures highquality standards by machining and inspecting parts to meet exact specifications.Performs precision measurements using calipers micrometers comparators and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).Maintains equipment calibration according to the schedule.Uses advanced shop mathematics including trigonometry and understands metal characteristics .Contributes to lean initiatives and provides improvement suggestions.Assists in workload prioritization based on business demand.Observes company policies and safety procedures and maintains a clean work environment .Trains and mentors less experienced team members.Performs other related responsibilities as requested.Qualifications :
5 years of machining experience in a hightech manufacturing environment.Ability to work with minimal supervision .Proficient in reading blueprints engineering specs and technical drawings .Knowledge of advanced shop mathematics including trigonometry.Skilled in precision machine setups and lean manufacturing principles.Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills .Experience in training and mentoring team members.Comfortable using jobspecific software applications (PMR TORS email).May require specialized certification per division requirements.Physical & Mental Requirements :
Ability to walk stand and sit for extended periods.Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.Close vision is necessary for inspecting parts.Regular attendance and ability to work cooperatively with a team .May be required to lift up to 50 lbs .The Company reserves the right to modify work assignments and / or make reasonable accommodations for qualified employees to perform essential job functions.)
