A leading law firm seeks a skilled Bankruptcy Associate Attorney with 3 years of experience in bankruptcy, workout, or related commercial litigation. Join our Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice group and work with a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, workouts, and commercial litigation.
- Negotiate with creditors and debtors.
- Analyze financial documents and develop restructuring plans.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings.
- Manage cases effectively and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Licensed to practice law in Louisiana (LA Bar).
- 3 years of experience in bankruptcy, workout, or related commercial litigation.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to working onsite in New Orleans for the first year.
