Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA (2 days a week in-office)

Compensation

Contract to HIRE - Locals preferred

• Hourly: $70-$75/hr on W2

Job Description: We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer responsible for managing day-to-day cloud security operations, ensuring compliance with standards, and minimizing cloud risks. The role involves remediating cloud misconfigurations, maintaining custom security policies, and facilitating cloud vulnerability management. The candidate will work closely with application teams and support cloud architecture reviews as needed.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in cloud security (Azure, AWS, OCI) or cloud solution design.
• Knowledge of public cloud network architectures.
• Experience as a cloud administrator.
• Familiarity with Wiz or Orca for managing cloud security risks.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with app teams.

• Penetration testing experience.
• Cloud incident response experience.
