IT Relationship Manager
3 days a week onsite in NYC, NY
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (35-hour workweek)
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management & Communication:
- Act as the primary technology advisor for assigned divisions.
- Understand program business processes and identify technical solutions.
- Serve as the liaison between IT and business units.
- Attend leadership meetings to align with division priorities.
- Escalate issues to senior management as needed.
Technology & Process Implementation:
- Recommend technology solutions that meet business needs.
- Approve software purchases and assist in IT roadmap development.
- Align IT services with business priorities and improve operational efficiencies.
- Conduct market analysis and maintain an updated service catalog.
Project Governance:
- Guide programs through project initiation and prioritize pipeline requests.
- Evaluate project complexity and value using scoring criteria.
- Provide cost estimates and implementation strategies.
- Lead governance meetings to showcase IT activities and progress.
Team Collaboration:
- Facilitate effective and goal-oriented meetings with timely follow-ups.
- Promote a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 5 years across IT disciplines (architecture, network management, app development, cloud development, etc.).
- Familiarity with diverse technologies, platforms, and emerging tech trends.
- Expertise in relationship management, customer success, and solution delivery.
- Agile methodology knowledge and product management experience.
- Strong communication skills, including presentation delivery to executive-level audiences.
- Experience in a relevant industry is a plus but not required.
