Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution or a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or other field related to social work required and working toward master's in social work from an accredited school.
- Certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
- Demonstrates one (1) or more years of recent social work experience, preferably in a similar health care setting.
- Maintains current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) required or other approved educational programs.
- Current Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card (new hires must also complete the application process for this card before being released to their department).
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC personnel.
- Ability to evaluate patients for appropriate community service needs or placement.
- Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form required.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive communication with patients and family under stressful situations.
- An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
- Required to have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
