Need someone who has experience in a hospital or healthcare organization and understands it’s a 24/7 operation and patient-impacting if the network goes down.
They’re looking for someone who can help drive strategic and tactical planning surrounding network infrastructure and services throughout all Houston based locations (130 sites), along with the additional criteria below:
This person will have 14 direct reports and a relationship with an MSP that adds another 14 people. If network goes down, its patient impacting. They have 130 sites, with 12 major hospital buildings, everything else is specialty care, pediatrics, women's centers
· Plan and strategize long-term vision providing coordination, enhancements, and stability with executive leadership, stakeholders, and direct subordinates.
· Manage patient-impacting network Infrastructure across all Pediatric/Care facilities, ensuring consistent and seamless daily operations.
· Strong experience around WAN, Cisco SDWAN, Network Segmentation (Palo), Cisco ISE, ForeScout NAC, Cisco DNAC, Cisco Thousand Eyes, etc.
· Work in conjunction with MSP providers to navigate all cloud-based services, security, network solutions, and current/proposed projects.
