Job Summary :
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with a variety of surgical procedures, including Orthopedics, OB / GYN, General Surgery, Podiatry, GI, and Trauma surgeries.
- Ensure the operating room is sterile and prepared for each procedure.
- Provide surgeons with necessary instruments, sponges, and other supplies during surgeries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile field throughout surgeries.
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs during procedures to assist effectively.
- Handle specimens appropriately and assist with patient positioning and preparation.
- Participate in trauma and OB call rotations.
- Stay until cases are completed when on-call or back-up call.
