About the Role:
We’re looking for a Helpdesk Tier 1 technician to provide frontline technical support for our employees. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve PC and Mac issues, assist with software and hardware setups, and escalate complex problems as needed. AWS proficiency is strongly preferred, as we leverage cloud infrastructure for our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for PC and Mac users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining workstations, peripherals, and user accounts.
- Support cloud-based applications and services, with a preference for AWS expertise.
- Document issues, solutions, and processes in a ticketing system.
- Collaborate with Tier 2 and IT teams to escalate and resolve complex problems.
- Ensure security protocols and best practices are followed for device and network access.
Requirements:
- 1 years of IT support experience, preferably in a Helpdesk or Service Desk role.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS troubleshooting.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, VPNs, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with MDM tools (Jamf, Intune, etc.).
- Scripting or automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Certifications like CompTIA A , AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or ITIL Foundations

Pay range and compensation package:
Compensation for this role is a combination of salary and stock options. The anticipated base salary range is $59,500 - $70,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on specific qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
Work Schedule: Daily schedule is 7am-4pm CT. This is a salary position and will be expected to work outside of the daily schedule when required.
