What are the responsibilities and job description for the Set Up Operator position at AmTrim?
Candidate will be trained on the job to run set-up and run the coating line.
- Set-up and operate the powder coating booth, spray washer, and tool cleaner system.
- Assist in troubleshooting problems within the system.
- Work in conjunction with engineering to conduct test runs on new products
- Read and follow all process/specification sheets, work instructions, and procedures.
- Record thickness readings and record data points.
- Work with engineers on research and development projects.
- Check adherence of products as defined in the process sheet, specifications, and work instruction.
- Adjust the system to ensure consistent quality of the product according to the customer's requirements.
- Develop and write process sheets for coating all new products.
- Perform operator driven preventative maintenance on guns, pumps, booths, spray washer, tool cleaner, furnace, and dryer.
- Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
