Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Supervisor will lead a team of workers, coordinate with subcontractors, and communicate effectively with project managers to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate project scheduling and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to provide guidance to the team.
- Monitor quality control throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards.
- Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for projects, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Utilize project management software such as Prolog, Primavera, or ProCore for tracking progress and reporting.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess work progress and resolve any issues that arise.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among crew members.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in construction estimating practices and budget management.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience with quality control processes in a construction setting.
