- Supervise and lead pipe crews in the installation of underground utility systems.
- Delegate tasks and ensure crew members understand their responsibilities.
- Train and mentor team members on proper techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.

- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure proper pipe installation.
- Assist in marking and laying out pipe locations based on engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with surveyors and engineers to verify alignment and grade.

- Oversee trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and compaction activities.
- Ensure pipes are installed at the correct depth, slope, and alignment.
- Monitor the use of equipment like excavators, trenchers, and compactors.
4.
- Inspect materials and installation for compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Conduct pressure tests, vacuum tests, or other inspections to verify system integrity.
- Document work progress and report any issues to site supervisors or project managers.
