Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pipe Foreman with experience with Water / Sewer / Reclaim / Storm Open Cut Repair to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various jobs by ensuring that all utility systems are functioning efficiently after repairing them. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate must have experience with Open Cut Repair. But we will consider case by case.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of the water / sewer / storm / reclaim utilities.
- Do Open Cut Repair on a daily basis and guide the crew to complete the job with the proper quality.
- Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and compliance with project specifications.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and report on utility-related tasks.
- Supervise utility operations on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of utility systems.
- Collaborate with contractors and other construction teams to coordinate utility repairs within set timelines.
- Participate in budgeting discussions related to utility projects, providing insights on material costs and labor requirements.
- Working foreman, foreman may need operate as needed.
- Keep track of crew timesheets and project progress.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline installation and maintenance practices.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Familiarity with contract management within the construction industry.
- Understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Experience operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to train crew.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
