Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a pipe crew to ensure efficient and safe job site operations.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
• Oversee the alignment, connection, and sealing of pipe sections.
• Ensure proper grading and leveling of trench bases.
• Perform quality control checks on pipe installations.
• Direct and coordinate crew activities to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and safety practices.
• Communicate with supervisors and contractors to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Operate heavy machinery and hand tools as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pipe installation or trenching (preferred).
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and mentor a crew in the field.
• Strong knowledge of underground utility installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and grading plans.
• Experience with trenching, grading, and excavation safety procedures.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 lbs regularly.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Criminal records will be evaluated on a per-case basis.
