Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop operations and manage a team of skilled workers, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate project scheduling and oversee the implementation of timelines using tools such as Prolog and Primavera.
- Review blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of project plans, facilitating effective communication among team members.
- Conduct construction estimating and budgeting for projects, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the production process to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation in ProCore for tracking purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Shop Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and software such as Prolog and Primavera.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating practices.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while promoting safety and quality standards.
