Our advanced equipment serves a wide range of industries, including food processing, agriculture, plastics, and recycling. We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative in Central States, to expand our market presence and support our customers in the region.
Job Summary
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with customers, and providing technical support for our equipment. This role involves sales outreach, product demonstrations, overseeing installations, and assisting with maintenance and troubleshooting. Frequent travel is required to meet clients, conduct site visits, and provide hands-on support.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- Self-motivated with a proven track record in sales.
- Experience in industrial equipment, food processing, agriculture, recycling, or related industries is preferred.
- Knowledge of optical sorting machines or similar technology is a plus.
- Minimum of two years of experience in technical sales, equipment installation, or field service preferred.
- Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for customer visits and on-site support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and customer referrals.
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations, installations, and training for customers.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting both remotely and in person.
- Coordinate sample testing and product evaluations for potential clients.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and service visits.
