16.30 / hour starting pay rate. This is a full time position with 1st shift hours. This position is eligible for full benefits (medical, dental & vision), 401K, paid vacation, weekly pay, Daily Pay, discounted downtown parking, free employee meals, hotel and restaurant discounts and more.
SUMMARY
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk position assists the Shipping & Receiving Department, as well as the Purchasing Departments. The majority of this position is the completion of receiving and inventory documentation for both departments, but also will help out either department with their day-to-day movement of product. This position is also responsible for assisting in the overall cleanliness of the dock.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Works 1st shift hours as early as 5 : 30 am and as late as 4pm depending on schedule
- Assist with unloading inventory from vendor vehicles as directed
- Fills in for Shipping & Receiving employees to cover vacation / time off
- Operates electric power jacks, manual pallet jacks, flat bed cars and two wheel dollies
- Handles the receiving guests packages and ensures the delivery of them to the Bell Stand
- Directs all vendors loading in for events at Amway Grand Plaza to their respective meeting room / ballroom
- Controls Loading Dock traffic
- Maintains cleanliness on the Loading Dock
