DRIVER/ATTENDANT- Non Emergency Medical Transportation

Amway TransCare provides non-emergency medical transportation services in Central Florida for patients in stretchers and wheelchairs. We pick up patients and drive them to their appointments at Doctor's Offices, Rehab Facilities, Dialysis Centers and other medical appointments.

We provide specialized vehicles (vans) equipped to safely transport our patients/customers. Wheelchairs and Stretchers.

Working in teams of 2, one person drives and the other person helps secure our stretcher patients.

We are looking for Dependable, Responsible Drivers & Attendants who meet the following requirements:

• Must have a valid Florida's driver's license and provide a clean driving record, demonstrating a history of safe vehicle operation.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must maintain a neat appearance and be well groomed.
• Must be able to start work at 4am-5am with regular working days Monday thru Saturday
• Must be able to work Saturdays .
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must have knowledge of POLK COUNTY (area of assignment)
• Ability to utilize navigation tools and follow directions.
• Must have a means of transportation to our yard/garage.
• Must have smart phones and email access.
• Must enjoy driving and must be willing to work long hours.
• Training on CPR, PASS/WC, Driver safety is required.
• Shifts available Monday to Saturday, four to Six days a week.
• FULL OR PART TIME
• Flexible schedule

Divers and attendants will:

• obtain daily pick-up route in contact with the dispatcher
• transport our clients/members safely to their destination, observing all rules of the road as required by law.
• inform Supervisor of mechanical or other problems associated with company assigned vehicle or with clients as soon as they rise
• keeps assigned vehicle clean, orderly and in good condition
• PAID DOWNTIME
