Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Details:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Finance team this summer. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in system implementation, financial reporting, and accounting processes. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are key for success in this position.
- Assist with data entry and reconciliations/validations to support our system implementation process.
- Help prepare reports and provide support to various team members with month-end close and forecasting duties.
- Project mentorship with the Director of Commercial Finance.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education
- Attending four-year college or university to attain a Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration Bachelor's degree; or already awarded Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of general accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and project leadership skills.
- Team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency.
- Self-starter with an analytical mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
- Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
