Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical High Yield Credit Associate to join our investment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive credit analysis on high-yield corporate bonds and other fixed-income securities. This role involves evaluating credit risk, performing financial modeling, and making investment recommendations to support portfolio management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct in-depth credit analysis on high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and other fixed-income securities.
· Evaluate the financial health, industry position, and business models of issuers.
· Develop detailed financial models, including cash flow projections and sensitivity analysis.
· Monitor market trends, economic data, and credit events that impact portfolio holdings.
· Provide buy, hold, or sell recommendations to portfolio managers.
· Prepare and present investment memos and reports to senior management.
· Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to implement investment strategies.
· Maintain coverage of assigned sectors, staying updated on industry developments and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA designation or progress towards is a plus.
· 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in credit or leveraged finance.
· Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
· Deep understanding of fixed-income markets and credit risk evaluation.
· Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
· Proficiency in financial software tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel).
