Responsibilities
- Manage the entire grant lifecycle, including research, proposal writing, submission, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with funding agencies and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and communication.
- Ensure compliance with all grant regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial reports associated with grants.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for grant proposals and reports.
- Utilize systems such as PeopleSoft for tracking grant applications and managing documentation.
- Implement best practices in contractor management and vendor management related to grant-funded projects.
- Provide training and support to staff on grant-related processes and compliance issues.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely submission of reports to funders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of contract management principles, including experience with DocuSign for electronic signatures.
- Familiarity with business development strategies and intellectual property law is advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing grants or similar funding mechanisms is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective proposal writing and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient in using systems for tracking grants and managing documentation effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
