Full-time, day shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturdays and overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
- Learning and performing all aspects related to the manufacturing of steel rule dies for in-house operations and customer ordered products. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined
- Highly detail oriented
- Analyze cause and effect and solve problems independently
- Work well under pressure
- Good eye/hand coordination, physical speed, and vision
- Above average mathematical and measurement skills, i.e. basic algebra and geometry
- Read blueprints and schematics
- Skilled in the use of measurement tools, i.e. calipers and ruler
- Experienced in working with close tolerances
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Able to perform non-repetitive lifting up to 75 lbs.
Previous die making and/or die cutting experience preferred.
A pre-employment drug test is required.
