Anakeesta is seeking Adventure Ranger Supervisor that are responsible for developing and leading our Adventure Ranger team to ensure proper safety, staffing, and guest service standards are being met. They are outgoing, courteous with guests, and knowledgeable about Anakeesta Adventure Elements and the park.
Responsibilities
Promote a positive culture within the department and leading through example
Consistent focus on coaching and development of team members within the department
Provide in-the-moment coaching/training to team members to achieve efficient and effective operations, guest service, general standards, and teamwork
Assist with employee hiring and counseling
Create and maintain schedules within the department and verifying timesheets
Ensure the Astra Lumina show opertates smoothly and efficiently nightly, and reports any issues to the correct department
Ensure all Adventure Elements open and close each day based on scheduled hours
Greet and educate guests on each Adventure Element
Closely monitor activities relating to each element throughout your shift, identifying any safety issues
Ensure Adventure Rangers are instructing guests of all posted safety rules of Adventure Elements
Engage with guests by greeting them, answering questions and providing park information
Will work positions in rotations with the team based on staffing
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the Adventure Elements
Other duties as assigned
18 years of age or older
Proficient communication skills.
Previous leadership experience preferred
Must be able to adjust to outside temperatures, working in all weather conditions
Supervisory experience in theme park/attractions operations and/or hospitality is preferred
Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl
Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on uneven ground
Must be able to work at heights
