Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Advanced Photonics Leader for our research initiatives in photonic technologies. The successful candidate will drive the exploration and development of advanced photonic integrated circuit (PIC) technologies, ensuring alignment with ADI's strategic research goals and future market needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the photonics research team, fostering a culture of innovation and scientific excellence.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for PIC technology, focusing on groundbreaking value-add advancements and long-term innovation (e.g , optical computing).
- Identify and evaluate emerging technology trends and opportunities in the photonics field.
- Oversee the design, simulation, and experimental validation of novel photonic integrated circuits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product management, global operations and marketing, to inform research directions and to translate research findings into viable products.
- Establish and maintain relationships with academic institutions, research organizations, and industry partners.
- Secure and manage research funding, including grants and collaborative projects.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing.
