We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join the Procurement Organization which is responsible for sourcing and purchasing the goods and services for the company. This Contract Administrator role will support these “buy side” purchases for not only our traditional integrated Circuit (IC) business but also our business that support solutions for the Intelligent Edge. The Contract Administrator will work with internal stakeholders to ensure a full understanding of the contract terms and to obtain the best outcome for ADI under the umbrella of an efficient business process. Ultimately, the role will involve ensuring that all our “buy side” contracts align with the company’s strategic objectives, drive compliance and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist internal stakeholders in proper process and contract types required for a given purchase
- Explain terms, conditions and contractual ramifications to internal stakeholders as required
- Examine contacts for deviations, omissions, etc.
- Review” buy side” contracts to perform preliminary risk assessment and triage accordingly
- Within parameters agreed to with Legal organization, negotiate with suppliers and approve non-commercial contract terms to protect ADI's interests
- Work with Category Managers and Legal organization to manage contracts renewal status
- Support Procurement’s COE team on applicable contract related metrics
- Establish and continuously improve processes, standards, and methodologies.
- Education: BS or BA in contract management, business management or related field
- Experience: 4-8 years of experience in similar role preferably in high tech environment
- Certificates: Strong candidates usually have a certification through the National Contract Management Association, particularly the Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)
- Skills:
- Proven success with a focus on interdepartmental collaboration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Time management and problem-solving skills
