The Senior Tax Accounting Analyst is a hands-on role in Analog Device's corporate tax department. The role principally includes responsibility for preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provisions and other aspects of income tax accounting. Other aspects of the role include assisting in tax compliance, tax systems, and special projects. This position primarily reports to the Tax Accounting Manager. The development of effective working relationships with tax, finance and other operating personnel is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with the preparation of the global tax accounting provision process under ASC 740 on a quarterly basis, including the calculation of key inputs, the preparation of ONESOURCE reports and supporting schedules, tracking of discrete items inclusive of uncertain tax positions, return to provision true-ups and coordination with external auditors.
- Assistance with tax compliance within all areas of the department to ensure reporting obligations are met accurately and timely.
- Assistance with special projects including technology and automation initiatives, internal control optimization and documentation, incentives work and adoption of new accounting pronouncements and tax legislation.
- Involvement with acquisitions, dispositions and associated implementation work streams.
Required Skills
