What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at Accounting Now?
A great client of ours is actively searching for an Accounting Clerk to bring onto their small team! The position will start out full-time to help you get your feet wet and learn the ropes and will then become a part time position with approximately 24 hours a week expected. The hours are flexible and can be adjusted based on the candidates and clients needs (ie three 8 hour days, four 6 hour days, etc)
This role is right off of 119 and will be a fully on-site position.
What the job entails :
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Bank Recs
On average, this person will be expected to process approximately 20 invoices a week and cut 15 checks.
The ideal candidate will live locally to the area, be comfortable and knowledgeable in accounting / bookkeeping, and have experience with accounting software's (ideally Great Plains).
