Accounting Clerk
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our accounting operations and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and issue invoices, ensuring timely payment from clients.
- Address billing inquiries from clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and ensure seamless communication.
- Post RMA batches and manage billing requirements, including frequency, format, rates, and tax codes.
- Maintain exemption and resale certificates, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process billing for customs and duties, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Enter credits as required, accurately reflecting client payments.
- Support accounts payable tasks, including data entry and document management.
- Perform filing and general administrative duties, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Associate degree preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and Word.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
Work Environment:
