You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, Finance, Payroll, and other HR functional areas to support HR system enhancements, testing, issue resolution and other technical projects.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
- Provide primary functional and technical support of HR applications, including security access, maintenance, administration, and systems integrity of HR systems.
- Serve as the systems and process expert for implementations; lead projects around upgrades and configuration changes to align with business needs.
- Configure Workday modules to meet business needs, including but not limited to Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, and Absence Management.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
- Identify and develop key business reporting and management dashboards for HR leadership.
- Provide technical training and support, trouble shooting, and guidance to HR team and other users.
- Develop documentation, including business process documents, user procedures, training materials, and user guides.
- Maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology and understand statutory and regulatory requirements affecting HR, Benefits, Recruitment and Payroll systems.
- Maintain current knowledge of privacy laws such as HIPAA and GDPR and ensure data is protected.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience required. An ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience working with Workday HRIS, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead analyst role.
- Experience with Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Core HCM required, experience with these modules in Workday preferred.
- Enthusiasm for process improvement and a proactive approach to data integrity and exploring Workday’s evolving features.
- Experience with system configuration, reporting, and data analysis in Workday.
- Experience with Workday integrations, security settings, and data privacy standards is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, security, data integrity, and system configuration and design.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, including the ability to translate between technical and business groups.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated understanding of the concepts and issues unique to the management of HR data.
