Senior Systems Administrator (Partial Remote)

Job Description

What You'll Do :

  • Managing and monitoring of existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Maintaining system documentation to include system reviews and recommendations.
  • Identifying potential issues and proactively proposing solutions and improvements.
  • Securing systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
  • Contributing to the definition and implementation of project best practices and quality processes.

Skills Set / Technical Expertise :

  • 5 to 7 years of experience with Windows 10, 11 and windows server 2019 and up
  • Scripting knowledge (Ansible, Bash, Python, Powershell)
  • Experience in Active Directory concepts such as domain, tree, users, groups and OU related concepts
  • Experience with Azure (IAAS) such as VMs, azure storage, azure VLANs and VPN gateway is an added advantage.
  • Office 365 administration (users, DLs and Shared mailboxes) is an added advantage
  • Experience in Backup solutions and Disaster recovery products
  • Have strong skillset in Hardware and Datacenter components (Dell, HP and IBM servers)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog or similar)
  • Strong skillset in configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience in EMC SAN Storage environment like EMC, VMAX, VNX a plus
  • Strong knowledge in networking protocols and devices TCP / IP, DNS and DHCP
  • Outstanding English languages written and verbal communication skills
