We are currently seeking a skilled Electronics/Instrumentation Technician to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As an Electronics/Instrumentation Technician, you will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of our testing equipment. This hands-on position involves building, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and instrumentation equipment, as well as communicating effectively with customers. The position will also collaborate closely with engineers in the selection and design of test equipment to meet new test requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain electronic and instrumentation systems used in our labs.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic components, sensors, instrumentation and control systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize existing testing processes, develop new processes and improve system performance.
- Provide technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and offering solutions.
- Document and maintain accurate records of testing procedures, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Assist in the development of test plans and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety in the testing environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electronic troubleshooting and instrumentation repair, preferably in an engineering or testing environment.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, sensors, and data acquisition and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and customers.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
