Job Description:
AMA is seeking to hire an Air Mobility intern to support The Air Mobility Pathfinder (AMP) project at NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC). The selected candidate will assist in developing an interactive portal designed to provide a unifying framework for the integration of new operations into an evolving, increasingly automated, cooperative air space system. This web-based portal will make use of advanced visualization techniques, semantic search models, and large language models to help users navigate the complex air space system. The portal will also allow users to gather insights to further the development of requirements surrounding Advanced Air Mobility (AAM).
This internship is for Summer 2025 and will be for a 10-week period, starting on Monday, June 2, 2025
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Linux experience
- AI / ML skillset
- Experience using Git to manage code on projects
- Experience with working on small to medium sized software teams
- Web application deployment
- Experience with developing visualizations using web technologies
- Experience with mining data from text using semantic search algorithms
- Experience training and deploying large language models and connecting them with external data sources.

- Javascript
- CSS
Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident due to facility requirements.
