What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Tax Accountant position at Anansys Staffing LLC?
We are seeking a detailoriented experienced tax accountant CPA preferred or at least working toward this designation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong public accounting background experienced in preparing entity and individual tax returns. As well as providing accounting services for business clients.
Duties
- Prepare tax returns for corporations partnerships trusts nonprofits and individuals. Responsible for accuracy timeliness and keeping up with the lastest tax rules.
- Conduct accounting functions including journal entries and reconciliations; preparation of payroll and sales tax returns. Responsible for accuracy timeliness and communication with clients.
- Prepare financial statements and workpapers for compilations and attestation engagements in accordance with GAAP. Responsible for assisting in satisfying quality control requirements.
- Utilize accounting software for keeping books for the clients. Comfortable with some clients on manual accounting systems.
