- Hiring Pay Range: $57,080.00 - $67,080.00 per year
- The hiring pay range for this position includes an additional $2,080.00 annualized Cost of Living Adjustment added to your base pay range.

Summary
- Responsible for supporting the lending activities within a region or market by providing insightful and timely credit analysis of prospective and current borrowers, including interpretation of financial statements, collateral and cash flows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with lender preparation of Credit Presentations for bank Loan Committee.
- Prepare spreadsheets, cash flow analyses, and collateral assessments with commentary in Evalutation of commercial (R/E, Ag, Energy, C&I) loan requests.
- Perform extensive credit analysis gathering, analyzing, and interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective customers prior to the credit decision being made. This includes but is not limited to:
- Analysis of business and personal financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and credit reports.
- May also include analysis of customer performance compared to peer industry averages.
- Meet with lenders to gather information to support credit analysis.
- Investigate all available sources of credit and financial information, including reporting services, credit bureaus, and agencies.
- Review appraisals, environmental reports, title reports, and loan documents for collateral property.
- When appropriate, review and analyze property financial information to determine actual income, expenses, and projected debt service coverage.
- Interact with accountants and attorneys at direction of management, when necessary to perform analysis.
- Research and/or develop credit information for use by senior credit staff, lenders, or other credit officers in lending decisions on new loans, renewals, and extensions.
- Update spreadsheets, cash flow analyses, collateral assessments, and financial statements for term loan reviews.
- Maintains consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, banking regulations, and bank policies and procedures related to the position.
- Must meet established deadlines and deliver quality of services as defined by department standards.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- 0 - 2 years related experience in analyzing financial data and lending strategies to estimate degree of risk involved in extending credit; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous knowledge of sound lending and underwriting principles, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Previous knowledge of financial spreading systems, such as Moody's or equivalent.
- Preferred degree experience or certification in accounting, real estate, or finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
