Job Title: Critical Access RN (Emergency Room Nurse)
Job Summary:
The Critical Access RN (Emergency Room Nurse) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in emergency situations, as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and triaging patients in the emergency room
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs and symptoms
- Communicating with patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan
- Collaborating with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Participating in emergency response teams and code situations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a high-stress environment
