About the Job
Anchor Capital is seeking a seasoned External Wholesaler to join our team of investment professionals to cover either the West Coast and/or Southern States. The External Wholesaler will utilize their knowledge and skill set to market and distribute Anchor’s Risk Managed Mutual Funds to financial advisors and throughout the registered investment advisor industry. This individual will work out of the firm’s Aliso Viejo office and/or remote.
Responsibilities
· Create new and manage existing relationships with RIA’s, family offices, institutional platforms and wire houses.
· Initiate phone calls and emails to cultivate new leads, set up meetings, and attend lead sales meetings.
· Present products knowledgably and effectively so potential clients can clearly identify the benefits.
· Attending industry events associated with the distribution of mutual funds.
· Provide technical information about the funds, which includes a strong knowledge landscape.
· Assist with developing and implementing business plans as well as sales and marketing materials as needed.
· Manage travel and entertainment accounts within allotted budget.
· Use CRM to effectively track sales and meet goals.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree,
· At least five years of internal/external wholesale experience.
· Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
· Proven track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance goals.
· Travel (50%).
· CRM experience.
