Fence Installer/Laborer

Anchor Fence is a family owned, local fence fabrication and installation company located In Kennebunk ME. We service York County and up to Portland. We specialize in quality materials, excellent customer service, and experienced installation. Our goal is to enhance the aesthetics, provide privacy and/ or security for every Homeowner and business we service. We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Fence Installers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and/ or landscaping, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing various types of fences, including: cedar, chain link, aluminum, and vinyl, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a high standard of safety on the job site. We will train qualified candidates. Initial pay rate will be determined by level of experience. Bonuses attainable on individual jobs, personal performance, and job profitability.

Duties

• Install various types of fencing, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental fences.
• Prepare the job site by clearing debris and ensuring proper measurements are taken.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely to assemble fence panels and posts accurately.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and installing fence components.
• Conduct landscape maintenance around fence installations to ensure a clean finish.
• Collaborate with team members, customers to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing minor repairs when necessary.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction or landscaping is preferred.
• Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques is a plus.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively is essential.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills will contribute to success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
