POSITION SUMMARY
Position of Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing multiple freight movements from commencement to conclusion.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist team by developing new and existing carrier relationships
- Heavy phone and email communication
- Negotiate pricing with carrier partners
- Manage shipments by coordinating with carrier and operations
- Develop new lanes and learn freight trends
- Expand carrier relationships
- Assist Operations with lane pricing
- Input accurate data for carriers, shippers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, BACKGROUND, AND EDUCATION)
- Bachelor Degree
- Customer Service or Sales experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work at a steady pace with accuracy.
- Capability managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable learning, and working with multiple customer management software, and technology platforms
