HHA / PCA Requirements & Key Responsibilities :
- Must possess a New York State HHA or PCA Certificate
- Limited opportunities for sponsored certification courses in Long Island, West Chester & Staten Island
- Comply with New York state guidelines for HHA or PCA work
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with daily living activities
- Demonstrate an interest in working with clients from diverse backgrounds and disabilities
