Qualities We Are Looking for in a Customer Service Associate

The ideal customer service associate will be warm, friendly, outgoing, and have a strong desire to please. The right personality is very important for this role, so you will need to be comfortable talking to clients from a range of different businesses and management levels. Strong communication skills are vital, both in person, over the telephone, and via the written word.

Customer Service Associate:

As an ANCHOR INTERNATIONAL Customer Service Associate, you will be expected to engage with clients via telephone, email, and face-to-face. Your priority will be to resolve client issues in a friendly, helpful manner and inquiries will need to be dealt with as quickly as possible.

Other aspects of the job include:

• Attending client meetings

• Tracking sales

• Updating the customer database

• Upselling where applicable

• Customer retention

• New customer acquisition

• General administrative work

Previous experience in a customer service/sales environment is desirable, but not essential, as all relevant training will be provided to the successful candidate. The right personality and a willingness to learn are more important.
