Anchor Packaging operates 4 locations in NE Arkansas. The NE Arkansas area offers a wide variety of activities to residents in a medium-size college community as well as in a communities which are more rural, all are within a short drive of large metro areas. PURPOSE Input and update customer account information for proper billing and distribution of invoices. Work is performed under the direction of department lead or supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES in order of importance. Other duties may be assigned.
- Setup, input, and maintain customer billing account information.
- Reviews and edits billing; identify and correct errors by adjusting, calculating and coding invoices.
- Prepares and mails past due statements and special handling invoices.
- Match and distribute reports and/or documents as requested by customer.
- File all copies of invoices and billing records.
- Request information and reports from IT department.
PRIMARY INTERACTIONS Daily interactions with accounting staff, sales account managers, sales representatives, and I.T.
COMPETENCIES
- Good computer & data entry skills
- Good organizational and communication skills
- 10-key by touch
- Basic math skills
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. At least six (6) months previous billing experience in an accounting/business environment.
