What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT TECHNICIAN position at Anchor Packaging LLC?
Summary: Provides on-site technical support to Panoramic / Anchor Packaging's manufacturing and distribution facilities. Acts as an extension of the IT department in analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions to technical issues and projects. Works closely with others to support and implement technical solutions as defined by the IT department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serve as part of the first-tier support team
- Monitors, answers, and updates help desk tickets
- Instructs users in use of equipment, software, and manuals
- Actively identifies and resolves broken and malfunctioning computers, scanners, and printers
- Work with network and system administers and resolve any network and server issues
- Takes care of technology issues at the warehouses
- Function as liaison between end users and IT department in documenting end user issues
- Relocates computer equipment as directed
- Gather user requirements for assigned projects

Education:
College diploma or university degree in the field of Information systems and/or 2 years equivalent work experience.
Experience:
· Knowledge of basic networking concepts
· Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows
· Experience managing Active Directory
· Basic knowledge of O365 or email
· Basic troubleshooting diverse types of technology
· Ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly, and technical language
· Exceptional customer service orientation
· Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
