Position Overview
As an Accounting and Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in out client accounting and payroll processes. You will ensure accurate back office accounting operations and compliance with all applicable regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within our finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for numerous clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update client payroll records, including deductions and benefits.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Assist with payroll tax and/or sales tax cleanup.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and accounting standards.
