Anchor Quest is partnering with a well-established boutique Commercial Construction firm based in sunny Austin, TX! They are starting up a few big projects and looking to hire an experienced Assistant Superintendent based at their Corporate headquarters in Austin. We seek candidates with ground-up experience working on large commercial or multi-family projects.
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for helping the Superintendent with all field operations and construction-related activities associated with the project. The Assistant will manage the field documentation to ensure that all onsite personnel have the necessary information about the project, and will conduct daily quality control inspections, monitor safety compliance, and oversee the punch-out process
Essential Functions
- Act as the company’s main onsite representative when the Superintendent is not onsite
- Review and maintain all approved submittals
- Generate, track, and post RFI’s and as-builts on the construction set of plans
- Manage project scheduling
- Conduct inspections to ensure that work is performed per approved submittals and specifications
- Project Administration, Operations, and Close-out
- Promote Customer Relations
- Promote Culture, Leadership, and Employee Development
